The iconic Mount Moran covered in snow gives a beautiful reflection in the Snake River. We have been here several times but never before has it been such a clear morning with freshly fallen snow, beautiful!
Luckily for us, we are early birds and pretty soon after the sun had risen the snow began to melt off the trees.
Oxbow Bend is a photogenic location in Grand Teton National Park, here you will find the iconic Mount Moran, Snake River, wildlife and many birds, among others. This image is a close-up of the famous Mount Moran in winter atmosphere. A nice detail are the waterfowl in the corner.
It was snowing pretty hard when we saw this bear walking. Because of the snowfall, details are missing, creating a kind of silhouette of the bear.
