This is a green iguana, they are cold-blooded animals that can warm up their bodies by lying in the sun. The green iguana is common on Curaçao. This photo was taken in our garden on Curaçao, it shows a fairly large bush with red flowers. The iguanas like to sit in this bush and come here to eat just like this iguana.
