This is the three-toed sloth in the jungle of Panama.
When we saw this sloth he was already actively climbing through the tree, we were lucky that he suddenly climbed down on a liana and then up again. Wonderful moment to see him like this between all the green on a liana.
Black bears are skilled climbers; this black bear cub easily climbs the tree without any issues.
Being in the tree is safer for the young bear, allowing its mother to eat more calmly while her cub climbs in the tree and waits until he’s allowed to come out again.
